Do you tend to forgive and forget or hold grudges? What is the longest you've ever stayed angry with someone? Is there anything the other person could say or do to win back your friendship and trust?

Hobby memories

Sometimes I'm thinking about the youth days where were no responsibilities and the only really important stuff in your life was being good in school.
Sure, there were the -compared to an adult- small duties the parents handed to you like feeding the pets, helping with the dishes, etc.
But what you really had in your youth days was time.

I loved drawing so much as a child, I loved to draw animals and landscapes with a pencil or ink pen. Any piece of paper worked, I remember I drew one of my best horses on a tissue at a restaurant (weddings can be boring for a teen XD ) One of my best drawings is in the US now; it was a gift for my aunt, who's living in Las Vegas.
I had lots of time and it was such a good feeling to get lost in my fantasy. It was kinda the same feeling like I experince(d) with writing a story.

Today I'm busy with my kid, my job and my stupid health. If I come home from work I'm usually done with my day, mentally. I do the cooking, some house work and in the evening I'm just glad to sit down and not to think that much. But I miss the days I had the energy to let my thoughts and feeling flow, even with my small, silly drawings.

I ordered two books for drawing techniques, from beginners up to experienced people and at the first sight I like them.
I just hope I'll get some time to go for it.

More on the $$$ crap front

Had a talk to my power provider a couple of minutes before.
I have to say, they sucks at billing correctly but at least they help to wipe the shit.

They lowered the monthly fee to $ 115, what is still too high, but at least way better than almost $150, with an option to lower it again after three months if I can prove I'm still paying too much.
The next is I can pay back the $800 in six rates. Well, it still doesn't make me happy and the next six month I have to save money on another end, but I can cope with that.

Speaking of saving money; I won't be able to do so on my bike, unfortunately. The back wheel is uneven and i have no clue how this could happen. I just can guess that someone hit it while parked in the bike stand at work. Some kind of hit-and-run in bycicles. Sweet. :(

Yesterday I made an devastating experience: I cannot trust my energy provider.
Devastating because I got a bill about $800 what I have to pay for the last billing period, because they didn't have the right numbers to calculate the right fee.
LIES! I sent them the card with the meter reading right as I got it and now they just shrug it off and try to tell me they didn't get any card?? WTF!
Do they have an idea what that means to a single mother??

I did the math over and over and apparantly I really consumed the amount of power they're billing me, but that wouldn't be a biggie if they'd calculated the right fee rigth at the beginning!
Now I have to pay $800 for the power bill and $750 for the oil for the heater (what I knew before, but that's also in the queue). I'd never bought the new Laptop if I'd known that.

The second thing is my bike seem to need some maintenance, what I can't do myself... what will be the third thing??

So. That means no new bed for me (I still sleep on the floor and it's getting cold at nights now), no birthday gifts for my kids besides small ones and no christmas. Sweet. >:(

CoX family trees

I promised this to amaryssobellus a few weeks ago, since she was thrilled Celia and I are doing some kind of legacy in CoX like we did in Sims2.

So, for bringing some light in the wide spread confusion about our toons and their realtionships (or to confuse you even more ;P ), I sat down and filled in a data base with all related toons (friends, BFs, GFs and other relatonships, also not related toons are not included here!).

I created three pictures as an overview with birthdates, death and marriages, as far as they're known. Persons without any date are not born yet (or the dates are simply unknown).

If you wonder about Veel an Nel... Yes, they got married AFTER their death. They're still alive, though, or got revived, chose a term. How so? Well, that' a deep secret of Thorn magic... Veel's brother could tell you a lot about it. Anyways, Veel and Nel are alive, anyhow. Don't ask. ;)

And here we go. If you have any question, feel free to ask. My options were limited in the program, so I'll explain everthing you want to know in comments until I got my homepage built with ALL of our toons. Phew.

Moments of... fail

I did some renovations in my appartment since Freyja moved out and I finally got a bedroom for my own. Skadi claimed Freyja's old room, got a new carpet and a new, big bed and a new wardrobe, what is still in pieces, but Freyja and her BF want to help me tomorrow to build it.

Yesterday the both of them helped me to build my new bed and after some annoying moments (holes for the screws not well set, but nothing I couldn't deal with) the thing stood in my bedroom and I was happy. But not for long.

We put the mattress in and I started to lay down for some stability test (I'm actually NOT like a feather ;) and the matress sank toward the floor on one side. Gnah. The whole thing is to wide for the matress, but it should be the fitting size since it's all standard!
Dammit! Now I have to get that bed back to the store, have to fight for my money and to get another bed. Thank goodness it's so hot these days so I just put the matress on the floor. I just don't want to sleep at the couch again, my poor back!!!

That reminded me of one screenshot I got lately as I logged in with my Fire/Kin Controller Ricky aka Devil's Orphan and my Kin/Rad Defender Chester "Chess" Neutron at the same time (two accounts on two different computers).

I had no clue that I left the both of them right at the same place in Wentworths! Now it looks like Ricky would say:
"Now, honey; what set of rings would you like??"

In our Roleplay they're best friends and married to female characters, but maybe I should try the slash-thing. I'm always for smut ;P

Or not-so-double XP. I doubt the double xp hit me because all the progress we did was not very double xp-ish. C'mon, 22 points xp for a minion at lvl 21?? What gives??
All the bigger progress we made was due to kill-all Taskforces what gives naturally good xp but takes time. Do the Devs want us to do stupid AE to get xp??
